Out of the Mouthes of Babes

Tonight while cooking dinner my five year old daughter Sarah was quizzing me about what kind of candy I like (a carry over from Halloween). So in her beautiful, inquisitive and insightful mind she theorizied that I married her father because we both shared an affinity for Milk Duds! (Note to self: if and when the whole getting married thing comes up for you again Meg, go a little deeper!)

Dear Meg

I had to copy the following in order to comment on it - it is simply beautiful...

"We are like two horses roaming in separate pastures blocked from being together by the fences of reality. I long to roam the great expanse by your side, exploring everything the world has to offer, together."

Thank you for the compliments on my blog. I feel very flattered, especially since they come from person who composed the above lines!

Like you, I do love writing & The Who, especially Pete (but it was Keith who first caught my eye as a teenager!).

I don't have much time for writing, but I have discovered that posting on my blog has allowed me to begin to hone my writing skills. Now I can do two things at once!
I don't have much time for posting on my computer, either, but it gives me incentive...

By the way, I also love horses.

I too love horse and I pass a particular group of them daily when I go to and from work and I gather strength from them. Their beauty and magnificance are very inspiring.

thanks for your comment on my blog!
I like your blog too! I thought i was the optimistic cynic? i always say that i hope for the best but expect the worst! or is that i prepare for the worst?
not sure if i went any deeper than a love for a particular kind of candy. i just thought my husband was cute!
do you ever feel like an elder on this blog? it's good to hear someone else is cooking dinner for their children.
anyway, it is always nice to hear something kind.

bye!

So cute. Milk duds. Hahaha. Yes out of the mouths of babes for sure.

I'd like to share some pics with you. My Son and I were blessed by the sighting of two white doves flying free on Veteran's day and I managed to get 7 pretty good pics of them in flight. Stop by and have a look. Be sure to turn on the song, "White Bird", as you browse the pics. Thanks.

Peace, love and light to you and yours.
